Safari in Phillipines - Tubbataha
If you want to discover the truly wild, untouched nature of the underwater world, a trip to Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park will be your diving dream come true. Located in the middle of the Sulu Sea, hundreds of kilometers from the mainland, this isolated marine reserve is one of the clearest and most spectacular dive sites on the planet. Extensive coral reefs, steep walls reaching several hundred meters down, a variety of pelagic species and the almost constant presence of sharks, manta rays, turtles and schools of fish make this place a true paradise for any certified diver. Tubbataha can only be accessed by sea, during the short diving season, which adds to its uniqueness. Only those who dare to embark on this voyage away from civilization have the chance to see what nature has created over thousands of years in complete harmony and silence. This is diving in an almost primordial state - without crowds, noise and everyday hustle and bustle. However, our expedition is not just a diving safari. Before starting the cruise, we will stop in Manila - the vibrant capital of the Philippines - where we will visit the historic Intramuros district. A stroll through the cobblestone streets of the colonial city, a visit to the impressive Cathedral and San Agustin - the oldest stone church in the Philippines - awaits us. To complete the atmosphere, we will take a ride on a traditional kalesa, which will take us back to a bygone era for a while. While Manila will certainly captivate with its history, it is Tubbataha that will be the heart of the entire trip - a place that will not only enchant with its beauty, but will also be forever remembered by anyone who dips into its crystalline waters at least once.
