An underwater scooter takes a diver's capabilities to a whole other level. It increases our range underwater, affects our diving time because we are able to reach our destination faster, but most importantly, if we have received proper training, it increases our safety. We are able to more quickly reach a partner who needs help, tow him if necessary, and at the same time the problem is no longer the current or large waves. How best to start your adventure with a scooter? Here are some facts worth confirming and myths that it's high time to dispel; - whether it's worth diving with a scooter; - DPV course - a necessity or an invention of the federation; - whether you can transport a scooter by plane; - how to choose a scooter for diving - the best models. Note, however, fun with a dive scooter requires a bit of knowledge and skill. It's worth matching the underwater scooter to your predisposition. If you have experience, you can handle any scooter, because the biggest challenge for novice scooter divers is buoyancy. If you master this, you can quickly cope with models from other manufacturers, learning their peculiarities and characteristic details of operation.The scooter underwater also means greater mobility, and therefore a better overview of the situation. You are able to locate more quickly the person who needs help, and you have real-time control over where each member of your group is. When diving with a scooter, do you have less air or other gas consumption? Diving with a scooter requires significantly less energy expenditure than diving without a scooter, provided you have the skills and experience. Beginners scooter divers often see more wear and tear in themselves - this is because the new equipment slightly disturbs their buoyancy and they still put a lot of effort into handling it.
