React Right is SSI's first aid course and will provide you with the cross-cutting knowledge and training needed by a first responder in a life or health emergency. In this flexible dive course, you can choose exactly what you want to learn, including casualty assessment, first aid, CPR and basic stabilization techniques. You can also learn about administering oxygen in diving accidents and the basics of using an AED defibrillator. The combination of theoretical sessions and practical training scenarios ensures that this course will give you all the tools and knowledge you need to respond appropriately in an emergency situation. By the time you are certified, you will know how to act as a first responder on the scene, administer first aid, perform CPR, administer oxygen and use an AED in a life or health emergency. Continuing assistance: Until the arrival of professional emergency services, continue to provide assistance, following the first aid rules. First Aid Details: Chest Compression: Perform 30 chest compressions to a depth of 5-6 cm in adults, at a rate of about 100-120 compressions per minute. Rescue Breaths: After 30 compressions, perform 2 rescue breaths by breathing into the victim's mouth while pinching the victim's nose. Safe position: If the casualty is unconscious but breathing, put him in the safe position (fixed side). Bleeding: In case of bleeding, apply pressure to the wound, elevate the limb (if possible) and apply a dressing. Burns: In case of burns, cool the burned area under cool running water. Our underwater attractions, such as excavators and huge buckets, are specially marked. Access to the water is possible via ladders attached to the shore and three piers with floating platforms submerged at a depth of 5 meters, which are used for practice and training. We are able to more quickly reach a partner who needs help, tow him if necessary, and at the same time the problem is no longer the current or large waves. How best to start your adventure with a scooter? Here are some facts worth confirming and myths that it's high time to dispel; - whether it's worth diving with a scooter; - DPV course - a necessity or an invention of the federation; - whether you can transport a scooter by plane; - how to choose a scooter for diving - the best models. Note, however, fun with a dive scooter requires a bit of knowledge and skill. It's worth matching the underwater scooter to your predisposition. If you have experience, you can handle any scooter, because the biggest challenge for novice scooter divers is buoyancy. If you master this, you can quickly cope with models from other manufacturers, learning their peculiarities and characteristic details of operation.The scooter underwater also means greater mobility, and therefore a better overview of the situation. As a nitrox diver, you will lengthen your bottom times and increase your safety margin on challenging dives. In addition, you'll shorten surface breaks - so you can spend more time diving, not waiting! In this course, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge by learning about safe dive planning and performing dives with oxygen-enriched air up to 40% oxygen content. Upon completion of the course, you will receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% Specialty Certificate. Nitrox (nitrox) - an oxygen-nitrogen mixture containing more than 21% oxygen. Reducing the amount of nitrogen in the mixture improves its properties for dives up to 40m. As a breathing medium, it is safer than air provided certain rules are followed. This is mainly about diving depth and exposure time. In the case of nitrox with 40% oxygen, you can use equipment (cylinder, breathing machine) used for air diving, when the oxygen content of the mixture exceeds 40%, you must use clean and oxygen-compatible equipment (otherwise an explosion may occur). Increasing the depth below 40m is not possible due to the toxic effects of oxygen at increased partial pressure above 1.6at or 1.4at depending on the diving organization.
