An excellent site for viewing larger marine life on the north side of Gili Trawangan. A flat sandy bottom turns into a series of progressively deeper canyons that run parallel to the shore. The Glen Nusa shipwreck is located at the northern part of the site in 28m of water.
A steep slope on the north side of Gili Trawangan, from 5m down to 24m with a series of gullies at the bottom. A series of gradually deeper ridges running parallel to the beach is located between 25m and 40m.
Considered a “muck diving“ site, Hans Reef sits just off the east coast of Gili Air and provides great opportunitities for macro photographers or those wanting to see some of the smaller, stranger creatures found here.
Off the west side of Gili Air is a sandy slope known for its coral bommies, soft coral, and macro marine life. Amongst the marine life here you can find schools of fusiliers and snappers. This is a great site for every level of diver.
Hans Reef is a gentle sandy slope that runs parallel to the shore and features a large coral mound and smaller outcrops. It is suitable for divers of all experience levels and is often used for training. It is excellent for night diving and navigation. Coral blocks attract a lot of marine life!
Located on the western shore of Gili Meno, Meno Slope offers a wide array of macro marine life and coral bombies. The sandy slope is a multi-level dive site with depths ranging from 5m to 30m.
A gently sloping reef on the south side of Gili Trawangan with a good variety of hard and soft corals, interspersed with bommies and large table corals that shelter the fish.
Just off the west side of Gili Meno, and home to a plethora of crustaceans, Meno Wall is a great spot for night diving. The wall runs from 5m down to 16m and a second wall runs a little deeper.
A gentle slope just off the east end of Gili Trawangan that gets its name from the huge rays that can be seen here. A good muck dive, this is a house reef and was the recent location of a Bio Rock project. A total of 8 artificial reefs were installed that have attracted a variety of marine life.
As the name suggests this wall is one of the largest in the area with a completely vertical drop from 5-30 meters, running along part of the Eastern side of Gil Air.
This site is a shallow plateau with a slope located to the northeast of Gili Trawangan. The dive site offers a wide array of marine life and coral and is famous for its big schools of fusiliers, red tooth triggerfish, and long jaw mackerel.
On the eastern side of Gili Trawangan is Good Heart. From north to south, this site starts off as a gentle slope which gradually gets steeper until it ends as a wall.
A 30m long sunken platform on the southwest side of Meno, this site is covered in hard and soft corals. The reef is a haven for many types of fish such as scorpion fish, stone fish, and juvenile batfish. Large schools of drummer fish are often seen here.
Located in the foothills of the mystical volcano, Rinjani, this dive is a sandy, yet vibrant site known to divers in the northern region of Lombok as ’Magic Pier’.
The pinnacle off of the north-eastern side of Gili Meno is home for many of the sea turtles around the Gili islands. This site is a slope that leads out to a pinnacle stretching from 9m to 30m with corals covering all the sides.
