O Fil de l’Eau diving center, located in Les Anses d’Arlet in Martinique, welcomes you to discover the wonders of the underwater world in a friendly and safe atmosphere. The center offers introductory dives in small groups, fun dives, and training courses as SSI Open Water. Following on from its land formation, Cape Solomon is a splendid reef made up of imposing rocks that gradually sink into the different shades of blue. The massive boulders, laid one on top of the other, give the diver the feeling of being a shrimp.
The Ameli is a wreck of a three-mast cargo ship which dates from February 1902, it is located at a depth of 10 meters and is located 10 minutes from the UCPA center.
The Roraima wreck is less than 10 minutes from the UCPA center. Mythical wreck from the 1902 eruption, it is located at a depth of more than 55 meters in the bay of St Pierre
The Barrère drop-off is located less than 10 minutes from the UCPA center. Fallback site in the event of a current to the south. Sandy plateau with a few rocky areas and a vertical drop-off starting at a depth of 12 meters and descending to more than 50 meters.
The Pointe Lamarre site is located less than 10 minutes from the UCPA center. There is a tray framed by two drops. No diving if there is current to the north.
10 minutes from the UCPA center are the Babodi canyons which extend out to sea. Anchorage area in little water on sand. The site is rarely exposed to current.
The citadel site is located 15-20 minutes from the UCPA center. All levels can dive on this site because there is a plateau which begins in 3 meters of water and goes down to 25 meters, it is followed by a drop-off of up to more than 50 meters.
20-30 minutes from the UCPA center is one of the most beautiful sites in the northern Caribbean. Unfortunately it is not always passable because it is in the Dominica canal where the swell can be strong. The dive is done for 20 meters max.
