8 mile rock
8 Mile Rock, situated near Koh Lipe, Thailand, is not only a premier dive site but also offers the best chance to spot majestic whale sharks and larger rays. This underwater pinnacle, located eight miles from Koh Lipe, is surrounded by clear waters and boasts a vibrant marine ecosystem.
The area is also known for frequent sightings of impressive pelagic species such as Whalesharks and Mobular Rays plus other marine life such as barracudas, travally and groupers.
