Alma Bay has a shallow fringing reef on both the left and right sides. Gentle sloping, sandy bottom with very little water movement. The maximum depth is 9m with an average depth around 5m.
Turtles, wobbegong, epaulette and tawny nurse sharks. Blue spot mask rays, cow tail and shovelnose rays. The main feature of Alma bay is the 50+ different nudibranch species.
