Gemstone bay is INSIDE THE HAHEI MARINE RESERVE so its a no touch or take dive site. Some of the biggest snapper and crayfish on the coromandel its a great place to dive and view what a marine reserve can do for an area
Snapper are abundant here to the point you need to be careful what you wear. anything shiney on your fingers can be an invite for these critters.
