In this flexible course, you can choose your areas of focus, such as initial assessment, first aid, CPR, and stabilization techniques. You’ll learn about administering emergency oxygen and using an automated external defibrillator (AED). Combining theory with practical exercises, this course equips you with the tools and confidence needed to provide emergency care. Once you receive your certification, you’ll be able to act as a first aid responder, administer first aid and CPR, provide oxygen, and assist with AED use. In the SSI Basic Diver program, you’ll learn the knowledge and skills you need to try diving to a depth of 12 meters with an SSI Professional. Night Diving and Limited VisibilityNight dives require skills that are completely different from those needed for daytime dives. The SSI Night Diving and Low Visibility Specialty course is the best way to learn everything about night diving and practice the techniques necessary to become a safe and confident night diver. This course will equip you with all the knowledge and skills you need to dive safely and comfortably at night or in limited visibility conditions. Through a balanced mix of online learning and open-water dives, you’ll learn how to use specialized equipment, master proper entry and exit techniques, and communicate with your dive buddy at night and in low visibility. The Dive Guide program is the first step on an exciting journey. Learn to safely lead certified divers in a variety of environments and conditions. By conducting dive briefings, performing site assessments, and leading dives, you’ll quickly become a confident Dive Guide.
