In the Basic Diver SSI program, you'll learn the skills and knowledge you need to dive to a depth of 12 meters with an SSI Professional. It's a great way to explore the underwater world in greater depth by giving diving a try. The entire Basic Diver program can be credited towards the Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver programs within 6 months, so you can move on to the next stage of your diving adventure. Drysuit diving opens up a world of possibilities, including diving in remote Arctic destinations and exploring cold-water dive sites teeming with life. Dry suit diving also lets you stay warm on repeated dive days, when you don't want to spend your time getting in and out of a cold wet suit. The Dry Suit Diving SSI specialty program is the best way to become a drysuit diver, and teaches you all the knowledge and techniques you need to dive safely and comfortably in a drysuit. You'll learn how to use this specific piece of equipment, made up of a drysuit and a diving jacket, what its advantages are and how to deal with emergency situations, which are specific to this type of diving. On completion of this course, you will be awarded the Dry Suit Diving SSI specialty certification.

If you're planning a trip to warm waters and would like to start your diving training in an artificial environment and finish it in a natural environment during your vacation, the referral diver program is an excellent introduction to safe underwater breathing and the various exercises you'll need to perform underwater. You can take these courses in the pit on Tuesday evenings and in the pool on Saturday afternoons, at the Cité de l'Eau water sports center in AMPHION-LES-BAINS.
