The Assistant Instructor degree is the next step up from Divemaster, along the diver instructor's path. It allows you to gather valuable teaching experience, practice briefing, teach the academic part, and conduct in-water training. If you want to pursue your career as a dive professional, you can finish the Instructor Training Course, pass the Instructor Evaluation, and become an Open Water Instructor.

  • Amount of Pool/Confined Water Sessions 6
  • Minimum dives for certification 75
  • Maximum Training Depth 40m
  • Suggested duration in hours 35 - 42
  • Amount of Academic Sessions 1

Certification Prerequisites

Divemaster certification, Minimum 60 logged dives (totaling 40 hours dive time)
