This globally recognized certification program is the best way to begin a lifetime of adventures as a certified scuba diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you gain the skills and experience needed to feel truly comfortable underwater. Upon completing these steps, you will earn the SSI Open Water Diver certification.

In the SSI Basic Diver program, you’ll learn the knowledge and skills you need to try diving to a depth of 12 meters with an SSI Professional. Trying diving is a great way to explore the underwater world more fully. The entire Basic Diver program can be credited toward the Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver programs within 6 months, allowing you to take the next step in your diving adventure.

Take an Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty course if you want to shorten your surface intervals and extend your dive time. This way, you’ll spend more time exploring your favorite dive sites instead of waiting! This course will expand your diving knowledge so you can plan safe dives using enriched air mixtures with up to 40% oxygen. Upon completion of the course, you’ll receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification for 32% or 40%.

In this flexible course, you can choose your areas of focus, such as initial assessment, first aid, CPR, and stabilization techniques. You’ll learn about administering emergency oxygen and using an automated external defibrillator (AED). Combining theory with practical exercises, this course equips you with the tools and confidence needed to provide emergency care. Once you receive your certification, you’ll be able to act as a first aid responder, administer first aid and CPR, provide oxygen, and assist with AED use. The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty program teaches you the skills you need to protect yourself and other divers. The SSI Night Diving and Low Visibility Specialty course is the best way to learn everything about night diving and practice the techniques necessary to become a safe and confident night diver.
