Japanese Gardens enjoys the protection of Koh Nanguan, which generally makes it a very calm and easy site. The depth ranges from just a couple meters to about 16 meters.
One of the most famous dive sites on Koh Tao, this site features something for every experience level. Ranging from 5 to 19 meters, Twins is located just off the western side of picturesque Koh Nanguan and is a favorite of students and leisure divers alike.
Great site for training dives as there is a big sandy area ranging from 1m to 16m deep. There are two different areas of huge artificial reef concrete cubes good for buoyancy or tech training. An abundant and dense hard coral reef area is on the east side and rocky sloping reef is on the west side.
White Rock, also known as White Rock and Black Rock, is located to the south of Nan Yuan Island, adjacent to Koh Tao. The whole site is a fairly large root, so no matter how many dives you do, you will never get bored of it, depending on the course you take, the depth and the type of life you observe. Beginners and seasoned divers alike should enjoy it.
An excellent site for viewing larger marine life on the north side of Gili Trawangan. A flat sandy bottom turns into a series of progressively deeper canyons that run parallel to the shore. The Glen Nusa shipwreck is located at the northern part of the site in 28m of water.
Located on the west-side of Nusa Penida Island, Crystal Bay has two coral reef formations separated by sand slopes. The combination of slopes and walls that form the topography at this dive site goes down to more than 50 meters and meets with large rock which is an ideal place for a cleaning station for sunfish.
This is one of the most famous wrecks in the world. This site is suitable only for advanced divers and EAN is highly recommended. on a trip there you do at least 2 dives, inside and outside around. The bridge rises up to 17 m.
Located west of Ryukyu Island, beyond the intertidal zone to the left of Sugifu Fishing Port, it features a coral reef shore and sandy terrain. Suitable for snorkeling, freediving, sightseeing, and instructional diving.
Located in the south of Nusa Penida Island and facing the Indian Ocean, Manta Point can often have big waves. This dive site has large rock mounds which are often visited by manta rays for self cleaning, giving this site it’s name.
Mawan is a small island with white sand beaches and turquoise waters in central Komodo National Park. It holds many surprises for divers, offering huge inhabitants as well as a great macro marine life. Mawan is also a cleaning station for mantas. Divers and snorkelers alike can enjoy seeing them.

The Dive Guide Program is the first step on an exciting journey. You’ll learn to safely lead certified dive groups in various environments and under changing conditions. Take an Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty course if you want to shorten your surface intervals and extend your dive time. This way, you’ll spend more time exploring your favorite dive sites instead of waiting! This course will expand your diving knowledge so you can plan safe dives using enriched air mixtures with up to 40% oxygen. Upon completion of the course, you’ll receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification for 32% or 40%.

React Right - First Aid & O²React Right is SSI's emergency first responder course and provides the knowledge and practical skills to act as a first responder in a medical emergency. In this flexible course, you can choose your subject areas, such as initial assessment, first aid, CPR and stabilization techniques. You will learn more about administering emergency oxygen and using the defibrillator (AED). With a combination of theory and practical exercise scenarios, this course will give you important tools and the confidence to provide emergency assistance. Once certified, you will be able to act as a first aider, administer first aid and CPR, administer oxygen and provide AED support.
