With the Deep Diver Specialty, you’ll learn how to plan and conduct dives down to 40 meters, manage your gas supply effectively, and handle the challenges of deep environments. This specialty opens the door to wrecks, walls, and marine life you won’t see in shallower waters.
Course Structure
Knowledge Briefing: Physiology of deep diving, gas consumption, nitrogen narcosis, emergency procedures, and equipment considerations.
3 Open Water Dives over 2 days:
• Dive planning and gas management for depth
• Controlled descents and ascents with proper safety stops
• Recognizing and handling narcosis
• Using computers and redundant equipment at depth
• Exploring deeper reef areas or drop-offs with instructor supervision
