Dry Suit Diving

As a drysuit diver, you can dive in cold waters all year round while staying warm and comfortable. Only dry suit diving opens up the unique underwater landscapes of cold water to you: dives among the icebergs in the remote Arctic or fascinating places teeming with life despite the cold. Dry suits are also great when diving multiple times a day. Instead of struggling to get out of a cold, wet wetsuit every time, dry suit divers simply leave their suits on. The best way to get into dry suit diving is the SSI Dry Suit Diver Specialty course. Here, you’ll gain the necessary knowledge and learn all the skills to dive safely and comfortably in a dry suit. This includes handling the specialized equipment and learning how to deal with challenging situations and problems involving the dry suit. At the end of the course, you’ll earn the SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty certification.
