The fascination of river diving. Crystal clear water, mystical play of light under water. Diving in this atmosphere is a very special experience. The wild nature of the Verzasca Valley, with its lush green chestnut forests on the steep mountain slopes, radiates power and tranquillity, as does the course of the Verzasca River. Cozy grottos, which offer Ticino specialties prepared with love and passion, and accommodation in a prime location make this excursion a weekend of pleasure.

Thursday divingWe meet every Thursday at 19:00 for a fun dive. The choice of dive sites and the dive plan depend on the level of training of the participants, as well as the weather and visibility conditions. Before the dive there is a briefing and the buddy teams are divided up. After the dive, we cultivate camaraderie with a logbook entry and a deco beer. The provisional program can be viewed on our website. Changes may be made at short notice due to weather conditions, for example. The definitive dive site will be posted by 18:00 on the respective dive day at the latest and communicated via the "Thursday Diving" group chat. Dry suits are also great when diving multiple times a day. Instead of struggling to get out of a cold, wet wetsuit every time, dry suit divers simply leave their suits on. The best way to get into dry suit diving is the SSI Dry Suit Diver Specialty course. Here, you’ll gain the necessary knowledge and learn all the skills to dive safely and comfortably in a dry suit. This includes handling the specialized equipment and learning how to deal with challenging situations and problems involving the dry suit. At the end of the course, you’ll earn the SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty certification.
