Becoming a certified SSI Specialty Instructor is easy. Train as an instructor and register for any specialty instructor seminar you would like to teach. Alternatively, you can teach your desired specialty course together with an experienced specialty instructor or apply directly to SSI for a review of your experience. If you teach enough specialties, you will automatically qualify for your Advanced Open Water Instructor certification.

React Right is SSI’s emergency response course for first responders and teaches the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond correctly as a first responder in a medical emergency. In this flexible course, you can choose your topics, such as initial assessment, first aid, CPR, and stabilization techniques.
