Every Wednesday from mid-May to the beginning of September we offer a guided dive in a nearby lake. Prerequisite: At least SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification from another diving association and a valid diving fitness certificate For club members participation is free of charge (rental equipment for a fee), for non-club members we have to charge a fee of € 10.- (if a dive guide / supervision by us / our DivePROs is desired or required - this does not apply to participants who are self-sufficient, i.e. only looking for a buddy and can also lead a dive themselves).

Have you always wanted to try out a dry suit? Then our test weekend is the perfect opportunity! You have the opportunity to try out drysuits from WATERPROOF on Friday afternoons / evenings at our diving school: Here you have the opportunity to look at the drysuits, try them on and choose a suit for the weekend. On Saturday mornings you can make your first tests / attempts in the confined open water, then it's off into the cold water of the open water. We provide the suits, you have to provide your own gloves and warm underwear. Costs per participant: € 30.- The open water dive can be counted as an adventure dive for the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver. You can also complete the specialty course "SSI Dry Suit Diver" during this weekend. If you are interested in the adventure dive or specialty course, please contact us. If you decide to purchase a dry suit after the weekend or register for the specialty course "SSI Dry Suit Diver" for this weekend, the participation fee will be credited to you. In order for us to be able to plan the use of the dry suits accordingly, please contact us in writing at least 14 days before the date.

Scuba tanks must be inspected every 2.5 years - entrust us with your tank, we will take care of it! Please hand in your tank(s) at the latest on the Thursday before the respective date!

Neugierig aber noch unentschlossen? Dann nutze die Möglichkeit des Schnuppertauchens bei Deiner Entscheidung! Neben einer theoretischen Einweisung (Funktion und Umgang mit der Ausrüstung, Erklärung wichtiger Unterwasserhandzeichen) sammelst Du unter Anleitung eines Tauchlehrers im Schwimmbad erste Erfahrungen im und unter Wasser. Eine intensive Betreuung und genügend Zeit für Deine ersten Schritte sind selbstverständlich. Voraussetzungen für das Schnuppertauchen ist ein Mindestalter von 8 Jahre, ein guter Gesundheitszustand und Badesachen. Alles weitere (Ausrüstung, Maske, Flossen) bekommst Du gestellt und ist wie der Eintritt ins Schwimmbad im Preis enthalten.

Regain a sense of safety and confidence after a long break from diving by refreshing your diving skills from the Open Water Diver course. Knowledge: During your SSI Scuba Skills Update program, a Dive Leader will briefly review the theoretical knowledge from the Open Water Diver course with you and also impart other useful knowledge. Skills: During the SSI Scuba Skills Update you will get the opportunity to review all the exercises you have already learned during the Open Water Diver program. Equipment: The SSI Scuba Skills Update is perfect for reviewing basic equipment handling skills and making adjustments to new equipment and practicing its correct handling. Thus prepared, you can experience future dives in local waters even more relaxed and the fear of the next "check dive" at your vacation destination is also a thing of the past. "Have you ever dreamed of having longer no-decompression times to take photos or explore wrecks? Or do you simply want more safety in terms of decompression when diving?" Nitrox allows you to do just that. Due to the lower nitrogen content in the breathing gas, the body is also less stressed and desaturation times are drastically reduced. In the ENRICHED AIR NITROX program, you will learn the rules that must be taken into account when planning dives and using Nitrox, as well as the gas analysis of your tank. "Nitrox for free" is already available at many diving centres abroad. This means that you do not have to pay extra for the special gas mixture. However, this does require the appropriate training, i.e. every diving center wants to see a certificate. Only then will you be allowed to dive with Nitrox. "A valuable program for emergencies" REACT RIGHT is SSI's emergency training program. It is a timely training program in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, AED and oxygen administration for diving accidents. It also covers first aid so that any accident can be treated safely. Participation in a REACT RIGHT program increases diving safety and your well-being. A valid first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certificate is also required by SSI and other organizations in order to obtain the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue qualification. Anyone who owns a “drysuit” and has mastered the technique will have great diving opportunities in the fall, winter, and spring, because visibility during the cold season or in cold waters is usually much better than in the summer. So you can dive undisturbed through clear water in your “drysuit.”In the SSI DRY SUIT DIVING program, you’ll learn about the benefits of a dry suit and gain expertise on various suit types, valves, choosing a base layer, and dry suit accessories.During the dives, you’ll learn the techniques and proper use of the dry suit, as well as hands-on maintenance and care practices.As a drysuit diver, you can dive warm and comfortable in cold waters all year round. Only dry suit diving opens up the unique underwater landscapes of cold water to you, such as dives among the icebergs in the remote Arctic or fascinating places that, despite the cold, are teeming with life.Dry suits are also great when diving multiple times a day. Instead of struggling to get out of a cold, wet wetsuit every time, dry suit divers can simply leave their suits on.The best way to learn dry suit diving is through the SSI Dry Suit Diver Specialty Program. Here, you’ll gain the necessary knowledge and learn all the skills you need to dive safely and comfortably in a dry suit . This includes handling the specialized equipment as well as how to deal with challenging situations and problems with the dry suit.

Do you wonder how your instructor always finds his way back to the exit or boat? Or why you always arrive back at the exit at 50 bar when you have dived with your instructor or a guide? This specialty course provides you with the knowledge and advanced skills you need to navigate safely and confidently underwater. You will learn the correct use of the compass, natural navigation techniques, estimating distances, leaving and returning to a specific point and simple navigation patterns. You will also learn how to combine navigation techniques to optimize your diving experience. All of this will sharpen your underwater observation skills, increase your diving safety and help you get the most out of every dive. During winter we offer one or two guided dives every Saturday in one of the surrounding lakes. Prerequisite: At least SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification from another diving association and a valid diving fitness certificate. For club members participation is free of charge (rental equipment for a fee), for non-club members we have to charge a fee of € 10 (if a dive guide / supervision by us / our DivePROs is desired or required - this does not apply to participants who are self-sufficient, i.e. only looking for a buddy and can also lead a dive themselves).

This appointment marks the start of your career as a Dive Professional - an informal meeting where you can get more information about the Dive Guide training, ask questions, we will check the necessary requirements together and, if necessary, complete the registration formalities. All further appointments will be arranged during this meeting. The Dive Guide course is the first step on an exciting journey. You will learn how to safely guide certified divers in different environments and conditions. Through dive briefings, assessing dive conditions and leading dives, you will develop into a confident dive guide in no time. Start your professional diving career as a Dive Guide or qualify as a Divemaster. Minimum number of participants: 2 Course price plus digital kit fee!

The Assistant Instructor is the next logical step after the Divemaster on your way to becoming an Instructor. It gives you the chance to gain valuable teaching experience, practice dive briefings, teach theory lessons and take over practical dive training. If you want to advance your career as an SSI Professional, you can complete the Instructor Training Course, pass the Instructor Evaluation and qualify as an Open Water Instructor. Use this informal meeting to get more information, ask questions and complete the registration formalities if necessary. We will arrange all further appointments during this meeting.

Dive-Doc Patrick will be at the dive center from 12 noon for diving fitness examinations, cost: €85.- (Froschmann Club members €80.-) If you need a new certificate, this is the ideal opportunity! Please contact us as soon as possible, we will then determine the exact time for your examination.

"Be prepared for the unexpected emergencies" When you get your driver's license for a car, you first take the first aid course and then the driving lessons. When diving, you first learn how to dive and then dive. But what happens if something goes wrong with your diving partner? If a diver becomes stressed underwater, shoots to the surface uncontrollably or is too exhausted on the surface to swim back to the boat or to land? There are numerous small stress situations that can be dealt with immediately and correctly before the stress turns into panic. The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty course is the best course to learn how to protect yourself and other divers. You will learn how to recognize stress, avoid accidents and apply practical techniques for performing rescues and emergency care. With a combination of pool/limited open water and open water training, you will be well and safely prepared to deal with emergency and rescue situations. At the end of the course you will receive the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue Specialty certification.
