2 Dive Sites Away from the Tourist Hot SpotsFirst: Double ReefThe first reef drops to about 14m, where it ends in a sandy bottom. From there you can see the second reef. The second reef starts at about 18m and drops down to 30m and deeper.Turtles are a common sight here, as are perch, porcupine fish, scorpionfish, green moray eels, and boxfish.Next: Fisherman`s Wharf / Water FactoryIn front of the old water factory lies this beautiful, healthy shallow coral reef. There are many different hard corals and large barrel sponges and orange elephant ear sponges with a shallow wall right at the end of the coral reef.The reef is full of fish life and you can often find porcupine fish, barracuda, knightfish and angelfish. Lionfish usually hide in the crevices along the wall.

Thursday and Friday are all about the night - meet new animals and end the week comfortably with your night and limited visibility course! Night dives require completely different skills than daylight dives. The SSI Night Diving & Limited Visibility Specialty course is the best way to learn all about night diving and practice the techniques required to make you a safe and confident night diver. This course will give you all the knowledge and skills to dive safely and relaxed at night or in limited visibility conditions. In a balanced mix of online learning and open water dives, you will learn how to use special equipment, the correct entry and exit techniques and how to communicate with your dive buddy at night and in limited visibility. Over the course of time, countless sea creatures have conquered these impressive structures as habitats, so that you dive through living history on every dive. Wreck diving is unique and incomparable. The SSI Wreck Diving Specialty course teaches you everything you need to know and master in practice and theory to become a safe and confident wreck diver. First, you will learn how to safely plan and conduct dives on wrecks and artificial reefs to a depth of 30 meters without penetrating deeper. You can then try out your newly acquired skills on real wrecks in open water. Upon completion of the course, you will receive your SSI Wreck Diving Specialty certification. This site is an easy entrance on the right-hand side of the pier, directly under the car park. Sandy bottom with the coral reef starting at 5 m /15 ft and the drop off at 10 m / 30 ft. At 35 m /115 ft the reef turns into a sandy bottom again.Home to schools of snappers, creole wrasse, and Chromis where you can also find scorpionfish, stingrays, and octopus.

Come discover this little gem with us! We often encounter turtles, barracudas, and boxfish here!Nice and easy shore dive in St. Michiels Bay with large sponges in the deeper parts of the reef around 30m. The large buoy in the bay is attached to a massive anchor chain, which is a perfect reference point for the way back.  You can often see schools of surgeonfish, turtles and scorpion fish. Stingrays and eagle rays have also been spotted here.

Take part in an Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty course if you want to shorten your surface intervals and extend your diving time. After completing the course, you will receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification for 32% or 40%.

Have you heard about the capsized smuggler’s raft?The beach is an easy entry point to diving. Parking is available just a short walk from the water. The actual dive site just offshore is called "Car Wrecks" because the bottom is covered with a pile of sunken cars. To see the cars, just dive off the blue buoy line and pay attention to their depth, it can get very deep very quickly in this place.In and around the wreck live nurse and reef sharks, possibly eagle rays, turtles and plenty of fish: snappers, angelfish, grunts, anemones and groupers.
