The SSI Try Scuba program includes:
- a brief theoretical introduction,
- familiarization with diving equipment,
- a review of basic safety rules,
- one practical session in a pool or confined water,
- learning to breathe through a regulator,
- basic underwater communication exercises,
- first experience of weightlessness and moving underwater,
- direct supervision by an SSI instructor,
- a digital SSI Try Scuba certification card upon completion of the program.
The maximum depth of the program is 5 meters.
SSI Try Scuba is an introductory program and does not qualify you to dive independently. However, it’s a great way to see if diving is right for you before starting the full SSI Open Water Diver course.
