The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty course teaches you the skills needed to protect yourself and other divers. You’ll learn how to identify stress, how to prevent accidents, and you’ll be taught practical techniques for conducting rescues and providing emergency care. Through a combination of pool and open-water practice sessions, you’ll become well-prepared and confident in handling emergency and rescue situations. Upon completion, you’ll earn the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty certification.

This program provides the skills and knowledge needed to dive safely and comfortably under surface ice. You will learn the specific requirements for closed environment diving, communication techniques and methods, and specific equipment used for diving under the ice. After completing this program, you will earn the SSI Ice Diving Specialty certification.
