The SSI Search and Recovery Course is a specialization focused on developing techniques used to locate lost objects underwater and recover them in a planned and safe manner.During training, the diver learns to organize a search operation, select and execute different underwater search patterns, improve their orientation, and work with specific equipment for object recovery.In the practical part, skills such as search planning, navigation and execution of search patterns, object location, use of ropes and knots, and recovery techniques using lifting devices are developed, always prioritizing control, safety, and teamwork.It's a very interesting specialty because it develops skills that go beyond simply retrieving an object: it improves navigation, situational awareness, planning, and the ability to solve problems underwater.
