To participate in the SSI Instructor Training Course (ITC), you must hold a Divemaster or equivalent qualification. The ITC is the first step in SSI's "two-stage instructor training model," encompassing a course package and comprehensive digital learning support. Upon successful completion of the ITC, you will take the Instructor Assessment (IE) to become an SSI Open Water Instructor. As an instructor, you can independently teach various SSI courses, including: • Open Water Diver • Advanced Open Water Diver • Enriched Nitrox • Rescue Diver • Guided Dive. If you need more practical experience or prefer a more gradual approach, you can first complete the Assistant Instructor (AI) course independently. This allows you to assist in teaching, accumulate experience, and independently arrange IEs when you are ready. The opportunities are endless—start your SSI instructor career now!
