The dive sites that we visit by boat allow us to extend the diving area and the diving depths. With a completely different topography, we reach depths of up to 20 metres at our boat dive site. At 14 meters there is an old car to discover, which is completely overgrown with shells. Due to their size, the sunken trees are even more impressive than before the diving station and offer an impressive underwater landscape.

Perfect for enjoying the mystical underwater world with sunken trees adorned with shells and algae. Spawning weed and water pest fields offer great hiding places for larger pike, while the reed belt is home to many smaller fish species. Pike of all sizes feel just as much at home in Lake Schladitz as perch, red-feathered pike and common whitefish. With a bit of luck, carp and tench can be spotted, as well as the occasional catfish or eel.

Irretrievably lost? How to find the mask, fin or camera that was lost when jumping in from the boat? How to retrieve small or medium sized objects that have gone overboard or sunk in the lake? The knowledge and skills about sensible search patterns, consideration of environmental conditions and the use of helpful equipment are part of the specialty course Search and Recovery.

Dangerous monster or elegant predator? Should we be afraid of it or does it deserve our protection and respect? Whether you are a diver or not, this special course provides lots of exciting information about what makes sharks so special, how different species live and what significance they have for their habitat. Once you understand these animals and their behavior, you can enjoy observing them in their natural environment. This course is a knowledge program and does not include dives.

Sufficient insulation protection is one of the most important safety rules when diving. Diving with a dry suit is ideal for the cold season or appropriate diving areas. Diving safely and comfortably with a dry suit requires special training. This course teaches the advantages of a dry suit as well as the correct use and behavior in emergency situations.

Knowing where you are at all times is important for your well-being and safety underwater. During the Specialty Navigation course, you will learn how to use a compass as well as how to use natural navigation methods. It then takes time, experience and regular practice to master the skills taught.

Finally diving again! Your diving vacation is just around the corner and it's been a while since your last dive? You dive regularly, but rarely? As part of a refresher course, you will review theory in a practice-oriented way, revive your diving skills and dive with a diving professional in our lake. React Right is SSI's emergency first responder course and provides the knowledge and practical skills to act as a first responder in a medical emergency. In this flexible course, you can choose your subject areas, such as initial assessment, first aid, CPR and stabilization techniques. You will learn more about administering emergency oxygen and using the defibrillator (AED). With a combination of theory and practical exercise scenarios, this course will give you important tools and the confidence to provide emergency assistance. Once certified, you will be able to act as a first aider, administer first aid and CPR, administer oxygen and provide AED support. Diving skills easily become rusty and after a while you lose confidence in your own abilities. An SSI Scuba Skills Update will get you back in the water and back to your old strength in no time at all. In the refresher course, you repeat and practise the diving skills from your Open Water Diver program under the guidance of an SSI professional. However, a scuba skills update is not only a relaxed way of refreshing your diving skills, but often also a prerequisite for resuming diving training after a break. If you don't want to worry about your skills on your diving vacation and would rather enjoy the underwater world instead, take the course shortly before your trip. The course is also ideal for Open Water Diver students to consolidate their diving skills before open water dives. Stress is one of the main factors in diving accidents. This specialty course shows how to recognize stress early, how to deal with it correctly and thus avoid diving accidents. In addition, this course teaches how to deal with emergency situations by teaching and practicing rescue techniques and emergency management.

Which diving equipment is right for me and my diving area? Choosing and buying your own diving equipment is probably the biggest and most important investment you make as a diver. We want you to put together the best diving equipment for you and also know how to look after and store it properly. Of course, we are also happy to discuss your plans for future diving destinations.

Some features of the underwater world can only be found at greater depths. Additional knowledge and skills are required to dive these interesting and exciting dive sites safely and in a relaxed manner. The Deep Diving Specialty course teaches the additional risks associated with diving to deeper areas and how to avoid them.

The Dive Guide program is the first step on an exciting journey, learning to safely guide certified divers in diverse environments and changing conditions. Through dive briefings, assessing dive conditions and leading dives, you will develop into a confident dive guide in no time. Start your professional diving career as a Dive Guide or continue to qualify as a Divemaster.

Float particles instead of gobies Gliding effortlessly through the water and improving air consumption is achieved through good buoyancy control. The specialty course Buoyancy Control Perfection teaches you the knowledge and skills you need to increase your comfort in the water and make optimum use of your equipment. With these tools, each subsequent dive will gradually perfect your floating in the water.

The diving vacation is booked and the anticipation of lots of dives is rising. Especially with several dives a day, the question arises as to how diving safety and health can be increased. The answer is air that is enriched with oxygen - Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN). The corresponding special course shows how to plan and carry out dives safely with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. And it also answers the question as to why diving with Nitrox makes you less tired. This course is a knowledge program and does not include dives.

Not all boats are the same and have different requirements than shore diving The goal of the boat diving specialty course is to open up new diving areas that can only or more comfortably be reached by boat. This program teaches the necessary knowledge and skills to dive safely from a boat and to experience the underwater world in places that cannot be reached from the shore.

Explore the underwater world independently with a diving partner You will learn to dive within 4 days with a maximum of 4 diving students. The dates can take place at weekends or during the week. The theory is learned independently and flexibly up to the first day of diving as part of an eLearning program. The practical exercises to learn the diving skills as well as the open water dives take place at our diving station and in Lake Schladitz. Here are a few dates to choose from. This course is the best way to get your diving license if you want to complete the Open Water Diver course in 2 steps, either because you have limited time or because you want to give yourself more time for experience. For our young divers in particular, this may be the right way to learn to dive in a relaxed and age-appropriate way. This program provides the training and experience required to dive safely in open water at limited depths under the supervision of a dive professional. With the SSI Scuba Diver certification, you can already gain experience in open water. You will receive the SSI Open Water Diver certification as soon as you have successfully completed the additional training units.

For all those who would like to dive and get a first impression of diving training, there is the introductory diving course (Basic Diver). After a short theoretical introduction, you will do some exercises in shallow water to familiarize yourself with the equipment. The SSI Snorkel Diver course lets you discover the fish in you! It's the perfect way to learn to snorkel, gain courage and confidence in the water and explore the fascinating underwater world and its marine life. You don't need to be an experienced swimmer to take part in the Snorkel Diver course and there is no minimum age requirement. You just need to feel comfortable in the water, be able to maintain your buoyancy and be ready to start the adventure of a lifetime! This course will familiarize you with the equipment and skills for your snorkeling experience and you'll even earn your SSI Snorkel Diver endorsement card!

Dive down to say good night to the fish. Experience nocturnal life in the fresh water of Lake Schladitz. All this with a convivial chill-out & barbecue.

The special experience of diving is usually at dusk with the change from day to night and the special refraction of light. In addition, there are diving areas that offer only limited or no daylight. Diving under such conditions requires special knowledge and skills. These are taught as part of this special course. These include requirements for orientation, use of special equipment and special features of communication. This diving course includes 2 open water dives and the lamps are included.
