Aqua Marine St. Thomas is a SSI dive center that specializes in small groups of no more than 6 divers per instructor, diving families, private VIP diving and snorkeling trips!

Aqua Marine St. Thomas regularly dives on more than 60 dive sites and we take the time to explore the lesser visited dive sites around St. Thomas with you! We can take you to some of the best wrecks and coral reefs around St. Thomas, to sites where you can dive with green sea turtles and on one of our fantastic night dives! Each dive is tailored to your wishes and we measure our success based on your enjoyment. Our instructors often have underwater camera on the dive to help you get your new profile picture underwater...

Have you always wanted to snorkel with sea turtles, rays and tropical fish? Divers and snorkelers in the same group can enjoy a tailor-made group or PRIVATE dive and snorkel trip! Every day at 1pm, we can take you on an unforgettable adventure! Our first stop is Turtle Cove known for its high abundances of green sea turtles, rays and Caribbean reef fish! The second stop is a local shipwreck with thousands of yellowtail snapper and colorful reef fish! All gear is included and we serve water, soft drinks, snacks and Rum punch (for after snorkeling).

Beginner wreck dive where divers will see a small shipwreck of the Cartanza, which is broken into three pieces. Max depth on the wreck is 41 feet, with option to explore deeper reef extending to 60 feet. Many divers and snorkelers enjoy shipwreck cove as it is protected from wind, and there are many moorings.

This is a fairly easy dive made up of ledges and overhangs from Little St James Island that are teeming with coral. This site can also be a good snorkel and night dive opportunity with an average depth of 20-40 feet!

Christmas Cove is located on Great St James and is perfect for beginners. Divers will explore the reef in the middle of the cove, which grows off a small rocky island. This is a wonderful site for Discover Scuba Divers and Open Water students. Christmas cove is a No-TAKE area.

French Cap is absolutely a staff personal favorite dive site! It is close to the south drop, so there is always a surprise waiting for us; big fish and lots of them. This site is deeper than our typical sites, nearing 100 feet, and the dive takes place around a central pinnacle.

Navy Barges is a site containing two shallow barges that are a haven for marine life. They were used as accommodation barges during the 2nd World War. After the war, they were used as a Navy training area & finally sunk in 1961. The swim throughs are perfect for avid photographers!

Nicely protected on the lee side of Great St James, Stragglers is the perfect option on a rough, stormy day! The dive starts in a small, but very pretty, system of canyons where you can find great photo opportunities. There is also a beautiful reef wall section teeming with life.

Buck island point can be dived both as a stationary dive returning to the boat which would remain at the mooring, or as a drift dive into Shipwreck cove and finishing on a different mooring. The max depth is 80ft and average depth of 65ft.

A very unusual shipwreck lies at this mini pinnacle. More accurately, the cargo of a ship. Divers come here to dig for buried treasure and are guaranteed to find broken pottery, pottery shards, and all sorts of other treasures!

Shark Bowl is a natural sand-filled bowl within a ring of volcanic boulders, covered with gorgonians and filled with corals, sponges, sea rods, and sea fans more common in deeper water. This site does get to 70+ feet/21+m and therefore is best for more intermediate level divers.

This is a shallow dive on the northwest side of Little St James. It is perfect for beginners to explore the reef and get a glimpse of local turtles. This reef is an ideal nursery for all types of fish, so juveniles are common here.
