This well-known and still developing Polish location is located near the A4 motorway between Katowice and Krakow near Jaworzno - Szczakowa. It lies on the site of a former dolomite quarry, still known among the locals known as “Gródek.“
Gravel lake Guláška (Hlboké jezero, Čiernovodské jezero) is for many Slovak divers associated with the beginnings of their diving era. Thanks to its unusually good average visibility and diverse life, this site is a kind of alma mater of Slovak divers.
This increasingly popular dive site is located in the Galanta district, between the villages of Veľké Úľany - Nové Osady and Čierna Voda. It is a part of the nice AQUAREA sports and relaxation area. It is located near the former dredging site, known by the locals as “Sziget“ (Island) or “Čierna Voda“.
The Šífr quarry is located on the outskirts of the small Czech village of Svobodné Heřmanice and is approximately 140 km from Žilina, near the Czech town of Opava. This slate quarry is approximately 500 metres long, 30-70 metres wide and in this relatively small quarry you will find depths of up to 36 metres. Note the quarry is at an altitude of 450 m above sea level.
This location is a gravel pit, located near Bratislava, about 3 km from the city of Podunajské Biskupice, near the villages Rovinka and Dunajská Lužná. Košariská is interesting mainly due to the depth. You can find places with depths up to 43m. The water in the lakes is clean and the quality is close to drinking.
