We have the chance to have a beautiful reef full of life, starting at 3 meters depth and going down to 9 meters. Right after the reef, there is an impressive drop off, going deep down but we gently go deeper following the sloping bottom to observe different sea life and underwater landscapes.
Santa Irini offers a shallow dive with a maximum depth of 10-12 meters. You will explore 2 underwater caverns, where a variety of Mediterranean marine species are hiding. Swimming through crystal-clear waters, you also cross posidonia fields that are vital nurseries for many local species.
The dive site offers an impressive pinnacle starting at 2 meters below the surface and going down 18-20 meters. You will discover this beautiful reef full of life and as you follow this big rocky pinnacle, you will encounter an exciting swim-through on your way back.
Due to the volcanic activity on the island, this site allows us to observe an amazing natural underwater phenomenon at a maximum depth of 10 meters. Thousands of bubbles emanate from the volcanic seabed of the island to elegantly reach the surface! Meanwhile you are surrounded by schools of local marine life.
