Blue Heaven Divers have existed since 2003. Aki, the owner, has lived on Tioman Island since 1998. Blue Heaven is a small and friendly dive centre, preferring a good atmosphere to a big business! Blue Heaven Divers is located in Ayer Batang, commonly known as ABC, a small and peaceful village on the east coast of the island. ABC is an ideal place to visit if you like a quiet atmosphere, enjoying a relaxing holiday alone, in a couple or with friends. From beginner to experienced divers, our team of instructors will do their best to give you high quality training and make your SSI training enjoyable. Discuss your schedule prior to your course, enjoy using good equipment and riding on a fast boat. Our team promises you an unforgettable experience.

Our objectives … Provide quality and a perfect experience to all of our divers. We want to make sure you enjoy diving and your time spent on Tioman Island as much as we do (and some of us have been doing it for more than 20 years!). Scuba-diving has to be handled with professionalism and safety; all of our SSI staff are well trained to ensure this. Why choosing Blue Heaven Divers for your SSI Training? - We take no more than 2 participants for your first try. - For courses, participant numbers are limited to 4 or less, to ensure we take care of every person. - We can teach in English, Spanish, French or Japanese (book in advance to ensure instructor availability). If you are a bigger group, contact us and we will see how we can organize your course to be sure we meet a good level of quality for your dive.

To fit our objectives we use high-quality equipment which is appropriately maintained. Here are the types of equipment you will use while doing your SSI training with us: TANKS: Our tanks are mostly 12L aluminium, but we also have 8L and 14L tank available if needed for children or big breathers :-). We fill all tanks at the dive centre to give us independence and be sure to avoid contaminated air. Once a year our tanks are sent to the mainland for visual inspection and every 5 years they pass their hydro static exam. REGULATORS: We provide Aqualung regulator as it is a very reliable brand. During the dive, we mainly use unbalanced regulators, the “Calypso” model for DSD and for Open Water courses. If you are taking part in a fun dive or course above Open Water, we will give you a balanced regulator, the “Titan” model, these are more comfortable to breathe when you are an experienced diver and they are also quite light. All of our regulators are serviced at least two times a year. BCD: Our BCD’s are mostly Aqualung PRO available in size XXS to L. All BCD’s have octopus and gauge holders as well as a whistle and are serviced every year. MASKS and FINS: Masks are Seapro, changed every year to keep them more comfortable and treated for antifogging . Moreover all our mask have neoprene strap. We also have masks with correctives lens of different degrees if needed. Fins are open heel type with booties, making the entry easier. WETSUITS: Wet suits are 3mm shorty, available in XXS to XXXL, most of which are only one year old. We also have some full suits, but not in every size. Water temperature is around 28 degree Celsius, so wet suits are not mandatory if you feel warm enough. Extra care regarding safety and comfort All our divers (except for DSD) will have Uwatec Aladin computer if desire for their dives, as well as an SMB.

★★★★☆ Salang Jetty

It might sound surprising but our jetty has become an amazing dive site. With the debris people throw over board and over the jetty a artificial reef was build which attracts an abundance of marine life. Shoals of juvenile fishes are seeking safety here, but the hunters are always around.

★★★★☆ Pulau Labas

This site is just off of Tioman Island and looks like swiss cheese. The rocks and boulders at this site create countless swim-throughs and canyons. Many nudibranchs and juvenile fish can be seen as well as turtles and blacktip reef sharks.

Scubapro, Stephen Frink

★★★★☆ Renggis Island

One of the most famous dive sites around. Just some rocks and some trees above the surface, but put your face in the water and you will experience a pure tropical aquarium.

Scubapro, Stephen Frink

★★★★☆ Tioman Marine Park

Want to know what happens if fishing boats are not respecting the Marine Park rules? More than twelve boats are laying there! This dive site usually has quite a low visibility, which creates a strange mood while you navigate between the wrecks.

Mares

★★★★☆ Soyak Island

In front of Salang, this small island is ideal if you like nudibranches and underwater landscapes. Lots of rocks are offering shelter to dozens of different species of fish.

Aqualung

★★★★☆ Fan Canyon

Outside of a small bay covered with strong coral, a slope of granite boulders creates a canyon, over time this canyon has now become full of gorgonian corals.

Mares, Predrag Vuckovic

★★★★☆ One Tree Bay

This small protected bay to the north of the main island offers a sheltered area when the south wind is blowing; a beautiful dive for every level. Lookout for the one tall tree amongst the tree canopy for which the dive site got its name.

Mares, Janez Kranjc

★★★★☆ Batu Malang

One of the most famous spots in Tioman, the name itself comes from the strange formation of rock hanging above, but not touching the water. This is quite a shallow dive with an amazing variety of corals and sea life.

★★★★☆ Chebeh East

Here there is a large boulder above and underneath the water; Chebeh Island is one of our favourite dive sites as the underwater landscape is beautiful with lots of strange rock constructions, forests of hard and soft coral and several swim-through areas full of glass fish. I

Aqualung

★★★★☆ North Point

A beautiful dive to see lots of colorful nudibranchs along the wall. Watch your gauges on the wall to make sure you do not go too deep. Careful, the current can be quite strong during high tide.

Mares, Janez Kranjc

★★★★☆ Pirate Reef

Drop into the ocean and follow the sand, suddenly a beautiful reef full of hard corals appears in front of you. This dive site is ideal for a relaxed dive as it is small enough to slowly dive around it a few times, and usually has minimal current.

Mares, Predrag Vuckovic

★★★★☆ Soyak Wreck

In front of Salang, in the deepest part of Soyak Island, are two wooden wrecks covered with soft and hard coral. You must have a deep diver certification.

Mares

★★★★☆ Last Frontier

An easy dive site but can have quite a strong current. Follow the small bay north of the island to discover a floor of table coral and a wall of hard coral.

Mares, Predrag Vuckovic

★★★★☆ Tiger Reef

This beautiful rock formation in the middle of two small islands is covered largely by soft coral. The current can be quite strong at times, attracting a lot of marine life.

Mares

★★★★☆ Ghost Town

Just in front of Blue Heaven Divers you can enjoy a lovely shallow reef. Want to experience something different? Explore the artificial reef named “Ghost Town.” Piles of concrete block have been placed here, giving the impression of an underwater skyline.
