★★★★★ Odyssey (Wreck)

110 feet under the surface of Roatan you can find the Odyssey Wreck. 300 feet long, 50 wide and, 85 feet tall, this wreck will impress. Sunk for divers in 2002, the wreck was donated by Hydes of Hybour.

★★★★★ Dolphins Den

A shallow cave/cavern dive at 5-12m accessible from either inside or outside the reef. Torches are advisable but an experienced diver can work through with the natural light

★★★★★ El Aguila (Wreck)

El Aguila (The Eagle) is Roatan’s most popular wreck dive and is located just off Baileys Key and Anthony’s Key Resort. It was a concrete freighter and sunk off Utila. The wreck was raised, stripped out for diving, and then sunk again by a consortium of dive shops on the island in 1997.

★★★★★ Land of the Giants

Shallow top Reef at 5m, steep wall with lots of cracks and canyons to the east. Slightly sloping sandy bottom starting at about 25m and sloping off to 35m+.

Mares

★★★★☆ Palmetto Keyhole

Characteristic of channels you’ll find on Roatan, Key Hole offers you an impressive display of topography with overhangs to explore. You will begin your dive at about 30ft and the reef walls guide you into the channel.

Aqualung

★★★★★ Bear’s Den

Bear’s Den gets its name from a large underwater cave and tunnel found here. The cave is a few minutes east of the mooring at about 40ft and is large enough to accommodate several divers.

Mares

★★★★★ Spooky Channel

An interesting dive site that links the inner lagoon to the outer reef. This beautiful gorge provides underwater canyons for all to enjoy.

Aqualung

★★★★☆ Pillar Coral

Another distinctive dive site, Pillar, as its name suggests, is a coral spire just off of the reef wall. The mooring is on the top reef at 35 ft / 10 m, but a very short swim takes you over the top of the spire which tops out at around 90 ft / 27 m. This site descends well beyond the recreational limits so watch your depth closely.

★★★★☆ Green Outhouse

Green Outhouse Wall is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Roatan, Honduras. This dive site has an average rating of 4.09 out of 5 from 11 scuba divers. This dive site provides bathrooms and airfills.

★★★★★ Hole In The Wall

A very unique dive site, Hole in the Wall is West End’s version of Delicate Arch. It is located just to the south/west of the boat channel at Mangrove Bight. The site that is marked on the Marine Park map is actually the Mangrove Bight buoy; there is no buoy for Hole in the Wall.

Mares

★★★★★ Canyon Reef

Canyon Reef is near the Mangrove Bight buoy where there are lots of canyons, swim-throughs, and cuts to explore. The wall bottoms out at 55 ft / 16 m, so everyone can play here, even with only an open water certification. It is a great dive site for everyone.

Aqualung

★★★★☆ Gibson Bight

Gibson Bight is a wall dive off the northern shore of Roatan, with a depth range to approximately 90 feet. The mooring is located near a beautiful canyon, which will lead divers directly to the wall when followed.

Mares, Janez Kranjc

★★★★☆ Fish Den

Fish Den is another of our favorites. The mooring is set on a pillar of coral which itself is set in a square-shaped cut in the reef wall. The top of the pillar is at about 20 ft / 7 m and drops down to about 40 ft / 12 m. The square hole in the reef slopes down to 60 ft / 18 m as it joins back with the main wall.

Scubapro

★★★★★ Blue Channel

Blue Channel dive is one of Roatan’s most famous snorkel sites, while at the same time a great dive site. Swim along a wide, shallow channel in the reef and into 20 minutes of tunnels. Finish the dive in the shallow swaying turtle grass.

Mares, Janez Kranjc

★★★★☆ Bikini Bottom

Bikini Bottom is a great teaching site or shallow dive site with a nice sand-patch at 15-20 ft / 5-6 m, and a really nice top reef that varies in depth to about 40 ft / 12 m.
