The Assistant Instructor (AI) course is the ideal preparation for becoming an Open Water Instructor. As an AI you can hold pool and theory lessons independently and assist active instructors with open water lessons. You will thus gain valuable teaching experience in order to then take part in an Instructor Training Course (ITC). You are also entitled to teach the Scuba Skills Update independently and to hold a try dive in the pool.
