Today, the wreck of the American B-17 flying fortress bomber is one of the most beautiful wrecks to visit in the world. It lies right-side-up on the sand between 25 and 28 meters below sea level, at the foot of Calvi's citadel.

The Sec du Charbonnier, located in the Bay of Calvi, is a popular dive site for its rock formations and marine biodiversity. The sec, or underwater rocky peak, offers dives at depths of between 15 and 40 meters, suitable for intermediate and experienced divers.
