It’s easy for diving skills to get rusty and for confidence to wane if you haven’t dived in a while. With the SSI Scuba Skills Update, we’ll get you back in the water and diving in no time. This refresher course allows you to review and practice the diving skills you learned in your Open Water Diver program, under the guidance of an SSI Professional. This is a great course to take right before a diving vacation, so you’ll have less to worry about regarding your skills and more time to admire the underwater world. If you’re an uncertified Open Water Diver student, a Scuba Skills Update is ideal for practicing your diving skills before you start open-water dives. With no set course duration, you can take your time and focus on the skills you need help with.

In this specialty program you will gain the skills and knowledge you need to safely and confidently navigate underwater. You will learn how to use a compass and natural navigation techniques, estimate distance, how to depart from and return to a designated point including basic navigation patterns. You will also learn how to combine these navigation techniques to enhance your diving experience. All of this enhances your underwater observation skills, improves your dive safety and helps you get the most out of every dive. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Navigation Specialty certification.

Do you have a diving license, but have never dived in Holland or Zeeland? If you want to experience that, then this is the place to be. There is a lot to see under water and one of our Dive Professionals will explain the site and other useful tips that make diving a pleasure. Together with the guide, a "local" who knows what you see, you go into the water and discover the most beautiful spots of the dive site. Of course, you can also make two dives on the same day.
