By vehicle, out of Mountain Pine, head down Blakely Dam Rd to Blakely Mountain Overlook about 10 minutes) parking on opposite end of dam Use stairs) By Boat head out of Echo Canyon Marina and turn right (about 10 minutes).
Located at Blakely Dam, parking is available at the far end of the Dam Site with a staircase leading to the water. This is a common training site and is visited annually by those paying respects at the underwater memorial, FEARLESS ROCK. Feel free to visit the site but do not disturb the Memorial.
Goat Island is easy to get to via boat from any launching ramp on the lower lake of Greers Ferry Lake. Generally, Goat Island is going to be some of the better visibility on the lake.
Deriving its name from the vast number of huge houseboats (floating hotels) that anchor around this island, Hotel Island is a favorite Lake Ouachita dive site. You can always expect to find knick-knacks that have found their way overboard from the flotilla.
Welcome to the dive shop’s indoor aquatic simulator, more commonly known as “The Little Rock Drop Off“. The Drop Off measures 25’ by 45’ and is 15’ deep with a water temp of 88 degrees.
