Professional Swim Educators… Our swim teachers are all experienced Swim Schools International Certified Instructors, with CRP/First Aid/AED and Emergency Oxygen ratings. Professional Diving Educators… We have been teaching people to dive for over 50 years and have one of the most respected instructional teams in the sport. In addition to qualified and experienced SSI Open Water Instructors and assistants, we have two Instructor Certifiers on staff. Methodology… In all of our programs, we utilize state-of-the-art equipment, the most current academic materials, and proven motor skill development techniques. Every skill we teach meets two important criteria. It represents a real world situation and it is designed to work under even the most demanding circumstances. Mermet Springs is a full-service dive site and scuba training facility that offers on-site scuba instruction. This site strives for excellence and caters to dive shops, instructors, students, and certified scuba divers of all experience levels and certifying agencies.

Totaling in at around 26 acres, Blue Water Park is Alabama’s premier dive site. They quarry offers diving at depths ranging from 4 to 140 feet, with an average depth of 100 feet. Visibility ranges from approximately 25 feet in the summer to 50-100 feet in the winter.

By vehicle, out of Mountain Pine, head down Blakely Dam Rd to Blakely Mountain Overlook about 10 minutes) parking on opposite end of dam Use stairs) By Boat head out of Echo Canyon Marina and turn right (about 10 minutes).

Morrison Springs is one of the most popular diving spots in northwest Florida. The large, sand-bottomed spring is surrounded by a 161-acre park that is managed by Walton County.

★★★★☆ Blakely Dam, Lake Ouachita

Located at Blakely Dam, parking is available at the far end of the Dam Site with a staircase leading to the water. This is a common training site and is visited annually by those paying respects at the underwater memorial, FEARLESS ROCK. Feel free to visit the site but do not disturb the Memorial.

Goat Island is easy to get to via boat from any launching ramp on the lower lake of Greers Ferry Lake. Generally, Goat Island is going to be some of the better visibility on the lake.

This 500+ acre Resort produces approximately 32 million gallons of crystal “gin“ clear water daily and is a consistent temperature of 68 degrees. Vortex Spring is one of the most dived locations in all of Florida and is popular among technical as well as brand new divers.
