Welcome to EUSAC! We are a scuba diving club based at the University of Essex, providing great opportunities for experienced divers and novices alike.
If you’ve never dived before, why not come along to a Try Dive session allowing you to experience what it’s like to breathe underwater.
Those who already hold a diving certification can fun dive with us or enrol on any of our courses to gain additional experience. We run various diving trips throughout the UK as well as overseas depending on interest and demand.
Heard enough? Please join the club and don’t forget to sign up to our official Facebook and Instagram pages. We look forward to seeing you at our next event!

Today, the site consists of 3 main levels: a 6m shelf area, ideal for beginner training, a 36m sump for more advanced training and the main body consisting of 2 large 22m deep areas.
With a maximum depth of 22m, easy entry and exist points, training platforms at all convenient depths. Gildenburgh Water is a great dive site for any diver, but particularly for novices and divers needing a convenient refresher dive.
The swimming pool at Ipswich High School measures 13m by 25m with a maximum depth of 1.8m, it provides plenty of space for diver training and swimming.
