The success story of Extra Divers Worldwide began more than 20 years ago with the opening of the first dive center in 1998 in Makadi Bay, Egypt. In the same year the Dahab Dive Center was opened in the popular Swiss Inn Resort. Meanwhile there are 25 dive centers, three safari boats and six own hotel resorts of Extra Divers Worldwide at the most beautiful dive spots worldwide.
The very comfortable dive center in Dahab is located directly on the hotel beach of the Swiss Inn Resort. The diver can expect a wide range of possibilities to discover the underwater world. After the dive you can relax in a comfortable, typical sitting area and review the experiences of the day with a cool drink. As there is a deep trench between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, there is a lack of offshore reefs, so Dahab’s fringing reefs are traditionally dived from land. Twice a day we drive with the jeep to different dive sites, where snorkelers can get their money’s worth and of course join us. The most distant dive sites can be reached within 30 - 35 minutes. Among them are world famous dive sites like the “Blue Hole“ and the “Canyon“. Early morning and night dives are also part of the program and highly recommended. For introductory divers and diving courses (from 10 years) the house reef is very suitable.
Once or twice a week, all-day boat trips are offered to the reefs around Gabr El Bint. Here you will find rugged cliffs and gorgonian forests, which are often visited by turtles, napoleons and milkfish. From time to time the boat is also accompanied by a school of dolphins. The very personally run diving centre is under the management of Silvia Martin and René Clauberg. They train in German and English from beginners to diving instructors. Quality instead of quantity is our motto! Dives and training take place in small groups, so that maximum safety and maximum learning effect are guaranteed, but fun is never neglected.
We guarantee you the best possible service, which is reflected in the satisfaction of our many repeater guests. Follow us on Facebook and through our website to stay informed about all news or send us an email for questions or reservations.
