This is one of the most famous dive site in Egypt. The Elphinstone Reef is full of healthy corals, magnificent clear blue water, and rich marine life. It is also a great destination to see your first shark.

Elphinstone South is an amazing off-shore reef dive and preferred by many as an afternoon dive due to the fantastic lighting. The dive slopes down from 18m deep to the deepest top of the plateau at 40m.

★★★★☆ Marsa Abu Dabab

Abu Dabab North is a significant dive site located in the Marsa Alam zone with very easy access from the shore. This site is suitable for all diver levels and snorkelers as well. It can be easily accessed from boat and shore (boats can only access the site from outside the bay).

Located 30km from Marsa Alam, Elphinstone North is one of the main dive sites in this area with lots of sharks and some of the most healthy coral reefs in the region. It is a 90 minute boat ride to reach, however definitely worth the trip!

An amazing dive site that is approx. 50 min away from Port Ghalib Marina offering daily boats. This dive site is suitable for all diver levels. You will see beautiful hard corals in the shallow areas. The shore can be accessed through the hole in the reef top.

Reef and coral garden in front of Abu Dabbab Bay. Beautiful cave with bright light inside. Small and old wreck beautifully covered with soft corals. Approachable by zodiac.

Access to the dive site is with a zodiac. Many big and small reef blocks and pinnacles here are covered with wonderful soft and hard corals. This site is good for beginners.

The dive site is in a bay formation allowing two nice shore dives to be conducted. This site is suitable for all levels of divers. The shallow water shore entry is easy and only requires extra energy when there are rough seas. As soon as you enter the water you will notice the nice landscape that contains many sand eels.

Fringing reef with beautiful corrals and lots of colorful fish. Reef is in very good condition. Depth varies from 5 to 30m. Specialty of Abu Dabbab Garden is the area around the jetty where a small and a big lagoon, canyons and caves can be found.

Access to this dive site is from a zodiac. This site has one big coral block with colourful soft and hard corals, surrounded by small corals blocks and pinnacles.
