This little (Octopus) rock is one of the best Musandam dive sites and has it all: big and small rocks, slopes, sandy bottom and many corals. You might need two or three dives to cover it all. The average depth ranges from 14–32 meters. REMARKS: There is a current especially during strong tidal movements.

★★★★☆ Marovi Island

Marovi is a cute little island where the northeast is a wall and the west part is a beautiful slope with nice hard and soft corals. Depth is 10–35 meters and suitable for beginner and advanced divers. REMARKS: There are some current in the channel. Also beware of local speedboats since it’s a busy area.

RAS SAMUT Southwest: Great combination of small and big rocks, sandy slopes, and walls with a beautiful coral. This dive site has a couple of nice swim-throughs. Depth: 3–23 meters. REMARKS: There is a current especially during strong tidal changes. REMINDER: Swim-through diving requires advanced diver skills.

LIMA ROCK North (Island): Lima Rock is a small rocky island 1.5 km off Ras Lima. North part of the island has a beautiful reef with a combination of slopes and walls with lots of nice corals and many Swim-through’s. Depth: 3–25 meters. Good for the Macro and Night diving.

Ras Lima is an easy yet beautiful dive site for beginner divers to advanced. Lots of schooling fish and beautiful hard and soft corals. Great for the Macro and Night diving. Depth 3-18 meters. REMARKS: Also beware of local speedboats since it’s a busy area. Use SMB and stay close to the wall.

LIMA ROCK Island - South: Depending on the time of the day (location of the sun, therefore light/visibility, and currents) South could be a great option. It is a dive site for intermediate to advance due to its strong and turbulent current. Excellent place to enjoy Scooters (DPV). Depth ranges from 5 to 45 meter.

Sannat Bay is 14.5 nm @ 026 degrees from the Dibba port of Oman. This easy dive site has shallow waters with a sandy bottom, little to no current, and is great for beginners and training. Small schools of fish and turtles. Also nice for Snorkeling and night diving.

LOCATION: It is right next to Marovi Island that 21.2 nm @ 021 degrees from the Dibba port of Oman. The south of the peninsula is a nice slope with a beautiful coral reef. Great for the Macro and Night diving. Right next to it there is a beautiful Sunken reef with lots of fish. Depth is 5–23 meters.

Monkey head offers a beautiful landscape composed by short walls and rocky slopes. Some swim through in shallow water (10 m) can hide schools of fish and more.
