Freedive Dahab is one of the very first Freediving Centers in the world, started in 2003 by former freediving world record holder Lotta Ericson and Linda Paganelli. In 2010 Freedive Dahab became the first SSI Freediving Instructor Training Center in the world and certified thousands of all level freedivers and hundreds of freediving instructors. We offer freediving package deals, a combination of freediving courses and training, where you can choose the option that suits you better. These package weeks are always nice because we get together a group of like-minded people for a week and organize some extra social activities besides the training like a trip to Ras Mohammed, a night freedive and a great dinner BBQ in the desert. The duration of the programs are 7-9 days depends on which option you choose.
During our Freediving Training sessions our experienced freediving instructors will provide you with the set up of buoys and ropes at a suitable depth. They will be coaching you, giving you guidance such as feedback on technique as well as providing your safety, and they will evaluate your abilities and adjust the training to suit your individual level. During freediving training sessions we have not more than 3 people per buoy, which means you will have the chance to freedive as much as you want and not having to wait long time in between dives. For advanced Freedivers we offer 3-4 week “Master programs“ or 2-4 week “Advanced Training Package“. This gives you the opportunity to train every day. Our experienced freediving instructors will be training with you at least 3-4 times per week depending on the program. They will check your progress and give you guidelines for your future training on a weekly basis depending on the targets you want to achieve.
Beside freediving training and courses Freedive Dahab also offer accomodation. For short or long stays we have 4 big rooms right above our freediving school. All rooms have private bathrooms and are equipped with AC, fridge and wifi. The rooms have a big common terrace great for socializing, stretching, and eating during breaks from training. We have created a shared kitchen for the rooms so that our guests will be able to cook their own food if they wish to do so:)

The most famous site in Ras Mohammed. There are many ways to dive the site so there is something for everyone here. Shark Reef, Yolanda Reef, and Satellite Reef make up the 3 pinnacles. On Yolanda Reef you can find toilets and a mast laying around from the sunken Yolanda wreck.
5min drive from the dive center. Entrance via reef top, therefore only diveable at high tide and little wind. Two reefs reaching just below the surface (Islands) border a shallow, labyrinthine hard coral garden. One of the most beautiful dive sites in Dahab.
Located 12km North of Dahab, the famous Blue hole dive site is a large submarine sinkhole, 150m across and 110m deep. The dive can start or end at the blue Hole as you can enter the water north of the sink hole at Ells Bells and multi level your dive to end at the blue hole.
In Dahab directly, approx. 7min approach. Entrance over wide reef roof, therefore only with little/no wind and high tide diveable. Wide sand field with countless garden eels. Shallow return (7-3m) on a beautiful, brightly coloured reef. Partial counter current on the way back.
The Lighthouse dive site is about 3.5 km away at the Dahab Bay and suitable for all level of divers. The reef starts north of the entrance with a sandy slope and leads you to big coral columns and bolders, as well as lovely coral wall on your way back.
This site is suitable for advanced divers. You can access this site by boat or you can get to it by swimming through a hole in the reef to access it from the shore. This dive is home to a beautiful wall covered with soft corals and many shelters. Currents can sometimes be a bit tricky here.
25min drive south. Only diveable at high tide and little wind. Large, shallow washouts that you can dive into. Reef slopes quickly, steep wall on the northern side.
