Hudson Grotto is a prehistoric limestone sink, most likely the oldest inland body of water in Pasco County. This unusual water feature is part fresh, part salt water and descends to depths over 100 feet.
Sitting about 100 miles north of Tampa, Rainbow River is a jewel of a dive site in the middle of Florida. Crystal clear, as it’s fed from a natural spring, this river is full of unique freshwater fish, turtles, and alligators.
This 35-foot barge was previously used in the reef program. It is made of 600 tons of concrete from the demolition of the Old Clearwater Pass Bridge, plus culvert and light poles. Many tall pyramid structures including “Twin Peaks” which is at about 80 ft.
The Circle of Heroes is an underwater military veterans memorial 10 miles off the coast of Dunedin Beach, Florida in the Gulf of Mexico. It is the first underwater veterans memorial. It was dedicated on August 5, 2019, and currently has 12 6-foot tall statues at a depth of 40 feet underwater.
