This site is just off of Tioman Island and looks like swiss cheese. The rocks and boulders at this site create countless swim-throughs and canyons. Many nudibranchs and juvenile fish can be seen as well as turtles and blacktip reef sharks.
Ten minutes from Tioman Juara Jetty, it’s a nice and calm bay that can hide from most of the waves, and the view from the bay is definitely a good place to take photos.

Location: 10 minute boat ride North of Juara Bay in the bay next door; Depth: 18m+; Current: None; Site: a gentle sloping coral reef that rolls into sandy bottom of the bay. Some rock features and sandy patches in the shallows.
Location: 5 minute boat ride east of Juara Bay; Depth: 18m+; Current: Sometimes mild current; Site: A gradual sandy bottom ranging between 5 - 8 m which moves into a beautiful sloping coral garden combined with a shear rock faced wall which can reach around 18 m.
Location: 5 minute boat ride to the northern point of Juara Bay; Depth: 20m; Current: Surge can effect shallow areas; Site: Sloping coral reef ranging between 2 - 18m which moves onto sandy bottom with spot coral clusters, Some bouldering rock formations and large expanses of monoculture coral composition
Location: 5 minutes boat ride east of Juara Bay; Depth: 40m; Current: Sometimes stronger current; Site: Large pinnacle rock formation found in the middle of the bay, soft and hard corals at the shallower end 9m-15m, feature walls and large boulders.
Location: Small rock island - 3mins boat drive on the North East point of Juara Bay; Depth18m; Current: Sometimes there is a mild current; Site: Two rocky islands to breach the surface water descending to the sandy bottom bay at 18m. The site has large boulder corals, rocky coral scape, overhangs, and small walls.
Location: In front of Juara Scuba Academy dive center. Can walk straight off the beach and dive into underwater experiences; Depth: 8m; Current: Sometimes mild current; Site: Sandy bottomed bay ranging between 2 - 5 m which moves into shallow fringing reefs.
Dive site: 5 minute boat ride to the southern side of Juara Bay; Depth: 18 meters and there is only a limited; Site is a gentle sloping coral reef ranging between 2 - 18 m with some large bouldering coral features and shallow lying rock formations.
