Welcome to Mars Scuba
Located just north of Pittsburgh, Mars Scuba is a full-service Scuba Schools International (SSI) dive center dedicated to helping divers explore the underwater world with confidence, skill, and excitement. Serving the greater Pittsburgh area, Mars Scuba combines professional instruction, quality equipment, and a strong sense of community to support divers at every stage of their journey.
At Mars Scuba, the focus is on making scuba diving accessible, safe, and rewarding through the globally recognized SSI training system. Whether you’re taking your first breath underwater or refining advanced and technical skills, the instructional team delivers structured, modern training with a personal approach. Courses are designed to build real-world competence, comfort, and confidence in the water, while allowing divers to progress at their own pace.
Beyond training, Mars Scuba is a complete resource for divers. The shop offers a wide range of scuba equipment for purchase and rental, ensuring divers have access to properly fitted, well-maintained gear that performs reliably. Certified gas fills, including air, nitrox, and trimix, are available alongside professional equipment inspection, maintenance, and service to keep divers safe and dive-ready.
