The dive boat anchors close to the reef where you commence the dive swimming along the reef wall, slowly descending to about 15 meters. From the tip of the reef cross the sandy bottom for about 30 meters until you reach the open facade of the wreck. Start with the deepest point, the stern.
A great dive for all levels of divers, generally with no current. Even with the north winds and choppy water that Paros is notorious for, the south side of Dryonisi is calm, flat, and protected. The dive itself has a different topography from other sites, the rocks are sharper and more jagged.
This dive can be done either diving deep along the wall first, then entering the cave, or following shallower along the wall before entering the cave. The cave is spectacular and is accessible underwater through a massive opening. You can then surface inside the cave to see the magnificent stalactites.
Canyons is a unique dive as it has a complex meandering route going around the rock formations offset from Dryonisi island. This dive site can be accessed even if the wind is very strong, but is more suitable for advanced divers with good air consumption.
This site is a lovely protected bay, great for all types of dives, including course training. This dive site has it all. Shallow sand bottom with huge rock boulders, wall drop off and crevice, which all create a pleasant adventurous and scenic dive.
A favorite local dive, this dive starts dropping slowly down to 8 meters in a easy, relaxed way, where you will find the wall. Huge rock formations turn into a steep wall with a massive overhang full of soft corals and brilliant colors.
The name tells it all, a fun little dive with a max depth of 12 meters, lovely swim around, some great rock formations, lots of marine life, especially damselfish, and some nice historical Amphora.
At the southern tip of Makronisi Island, this site is where you can often see little barracuda (Loutsa). You begin the dive cruising the Western wall southwards at about 5-6 meters. There is a crevice in the reef tongue which extends from the south side of the island; this is where you cross over to the eastern side.
A beautiful reef which can be dived all the way around. Begin on the southwest side and work your way around clockwise. From sandy, rocky bottom with scattered Posidonia Grass, the scenery changes to a more black and red colored, rocky wall with nice little overhangs and corals.
This dive can be conducted as a drift dive or normal dive from the back of the boat), because very strong currents can be encountered here. A Drift dive allows you to enjoy the dive without having to fight the current.
An excellent sandy bottom dive for beginners, try scuba diving, and open water diver courses, with very calm waters and excellent visibility. No currents and you can usual spot great marine life in the sandy bottom.
The remains of this Bristol Beaufighter were discovered in June 2007, near the Greek island of Naxos. A team of divers had been searching for the wreck for over a year, following stories that a Beaufighter was ditched in the area during World War II.
Cathedral is a spectacular wall dive. The name was given because when the sun beams hit the unique wall shapes and formations, it gives a feeling of diving through a huge Cathedral.
Twenty minutes from Golden Beach. The cove is protected in case of north wind. The wall drop until 25+ meters and is protected from current. We can observe some amphoras, rest from the wooden wreck back in the Pirate era of Paros.
