Welcome to ProRec Dive Center. We are an SSI Instructor Training Center located in the heart of Tulum. We are able to provide the complete course catalogue from SSI (Scuba Schools International), one of the world’s largest training organizations. In addition, we offer an extensive programme of excursion diving, from classic, Caribbean reef diving to a unique, cavern diving experience inside the ancient, world-renowned wonders of the Mexican cenotes. Our fresh and fully equipped dive facility includes top-notch rental equipment, air-conditioned classrooms, a dedicated rinsing and storage area for your own gear, air and nitrox fills and a fully stocked shop filled with the latest in high quality-diving equipment. Our in-house SSI Instructor Trainer and a dedicated team of instructors are here to take care of you together with all your training and fun diving needs.

Located in the heart of Tulum we are close to both the second largest barrier reef in the world but also the crystal clear water of some of the best cenotes in the world. We offer an advantage like no other when it comes to becoming an SSI Professional. With the world’s second largest barrier reef, the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, just outside of Tulum we have some astonishing dive sites right on our doorstep. In addition, you may find yourself training in some of our unique, crystal clear cenotes which will definitely make your training with ProRec something out of the ordinary! Our facilities are fully equipped with everything that you might need to assist you during your SSI Divemaster or Instructor training with us, including air-conditioned classrooms, a dedicated rinsing, and storage area for your gear and nitrox and air compressors! Dos Ojos is one of, if not THE, most popular cenote in Mexico. Diving cenotes, in general, are for advanced and technical divers. This cenote has two different routes, hence the name Dos Ojos, or two eyes.

Tankah Bay, located just north of Tulum, Mexico offers excellent scuba diving opportunities for both beginners and experienced divers. The bay is part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef system, the second-largest coral reef in the world, providing diverse marine life and vibrant coral formations.

Cenote Carwash is also referred to as Cenote Aktun Ha, located outside Tulum. Taxi drivers (not divers :) ) used to wash their cars here due to the easy access. No more car washing takes place here but it is an easy, interesting dive.

Cenote Dream Gate is world renowned as part of the original Sac Actun system, the largest underground river systems in the world. It also gives you the chance to explore 2 cavern circuits of about 40 minutes each, while observing huge calcareous columns, stalactites and stalagmites.

In the Ejido Jacinto Pat, on the same road as Cenote Dos Ojos, Cenote the Pit, Nicte ha, and a few others. 10 minutes north of Tulum. Average depth is 4-5 meters, must have very good buoyancy to enjoy this dive.
