The entrance is over the stones. You can either dive directly from the shore or swim to the yellow buoys and dive down there (to about 25m).
The Schottensee is located directly at the top of the Flüela Pass at an altitude of 2374m above sea level. In Rhaeto-Romanic it is called Lai da la Scotta. The lake, which is about 400m long and 200m wide, belongs entirely to the municipality of Zernez.
This is a popular practice dive site on Lake Zurich. Access is via stairs. The shoreline gently slopes towards the lake. At 20-25 meters there is an old suction nozzle. There are man-made underwater attractions like a diving bell, a Züri-Leu, an old bathtub, garden gnomes, etc.
The Williams reef offers not only a cozy place to linger, but also something or other underwater. Two rock faces at depths of around 30m offer divers interesting underwater experiences. A tree trunk in the rock face facing Zurich makes for an impressive experience. Access is via a ladder
Beautiful steep wall. Access is via a steel staircase. At the entrance there is a small "platform" at approx. 2m. In the direction of Rapperswil (south-east) there is a (model) skeleton at 32m and a treasure chest at 36m.
2 tubes help with the orientation. One is in the middle of the building, the other in the middle of the small bay, left of the building. Often the seagrass border runs at about 5m.
Coming from Mols in the direction of Walenstadt, the car park is just after a right-hand bend on the lake side. Driving from Walenstadt in the direction of Mols, the long parking area is on the lake side after a right-hand bend before a sharp left-hand bend.
From the entrance you dive parallel to the shore towards the east in the 3m range. Later the bottom starts to slope slightly. The most interesting area here is the 15m area, because here you can find many trees, bizarre branches and prosperity garbage, like bicycles.
From the entrance, dive down the silt slope to the left. After approx. 3 minutes you will come across an old boat lying at 14m. This is followed by a long scree slope, from which impressive boulders protrude. After approx. 15 minutes you turn around at the silt slope. At 32m there is the wreck of a car.
