Just 600 m North of Torre d’en Rovira, there is a round rock on its own, which is also know as The Haystack. The descent point is on the SW corner where a largish rock rises to 6m - the shallowest point. Apart from a shoulder on the west side, it is cone shaped and easy to swim round at different depths. 10-28m
Underwater mountain approximately one mile NW of Es Vedra. Maximum depth -50mts and minimum depth a few centimeters from the surface, so on days with very little waves you can see the wave breaking at the top of this underwater mountain.
The Abyss is a platform that slopes out south to 13/15m from the island in a semi circle but with a clear wall drop off on the west side which descends to 22m, then much deeper. This makes it a great dive for beginners and intermediate divers, as well as a deep dive for well experienced divers.
The ’Point of No Return’ is a large finger of rock at the west end of Esparta Island. Heading west, we find ’Big Rock’ - a large hillock with lots of life, then turn North to a smaller rock - ’Little Rock’, then ascend east to a horseshoe inlet, safety stop, then through a beautiful gulley returning to the boat.
