The site has very clear water with visibility of more than 20 meters. The underwater landscape is beautifully overgrown, but there are few fish, including large perch. Max. Diving depth in the bathing area 4 - 5 meters. Diving in the “north wing“ is only permitted in the mornings, outside of wakeboarding hours.
The House Lake of the Dive School Die Flosse in Gomaringen offers depths of up to 6 meters and is ideal for dive training and open water practice.The entry is conveniently made from the shore, with visibility reaching up to 5 meters. On-site facilities include changing rooms, showers, and other amenities.
There are 3 menhirs to dive, the bigger one starts at 18m and reaches a depth of 32m. Suitable for advanced divers. Since 2018, three life-size wooden figures have been built around the menhirs as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Limited parking, you have to go through meadow/forest on a path down to the divesite, a lot of fine sand available at the site, safety of divers is necessary.
Ever wonder what it would be like to work on your computer underwater? This site comes equipped with a full work table among other debris such as smaller wrecks and other rubbish. Access is easy via a footbridge, the depth ranges to a maximum of 20m.
The entrance to this site is located on the southern shore of Lake Walchensee, off the toll road to Jachenau, and can be reached via a small staircase from the parking lot. Underwater you will find rugged rock faces and large underwater rocks (20 to 40 m deep). In the crevices of the rocks you can find large eel rods.
We have an indoor pool with 3m depth at our diving center, Tauchersupply VERO GmbH. Here you can learn all the basic exercises. The skill training at 28 degrees water temperature motivates and brings visibility for use in the lake and in the sea.
Shallow dive site (good for perfecting buoyancy control), but very interesting in terms of fauna. The resident catfish is almost famous (it is said to be huge).
The dive site Camping Schwarzenau at the Achensee is a very versatile dive site, where you can visit greater depths quickly and where you can see very beautiful shore formations in shallow water, which are great for diving.
In the Berchtesgadener Land, you will find this idyllic, small mountain lake in the middle of a nature reserve. Fed from springs, this lake, which has a maximum depth of 18 m, has excellent water quality - from which the oldest water lily farm in Germany benefits.
Schlierwand is a freshwater dive site with a max depth or 35m. The site consists of a shallow band with steep walls. The walls are made clay with beautiful formations. You dive from the entrance to the left. You will find the steep face around 10m deep.
This lake dive descends to 30m deep along a sloping shore. There is a platform at 8m, great for training. In the shallows, there are remains of an old jeep about 10min to the right and a huge boulder at 30m.
One of the most beautiful diving spots on the Swiss side of Lake Constance. Large parking spaces in the immediate vicinity, short walking distance. Entrance directly left of the harbour entrance via a staircase, which is equipped with an alpha flag to fold out. ATTENTION: Do not dive in the harbour entrance area, dive around the underwater barrier!
First dive through the shallow water at the sandbank. Dive slightly to the left (heading north-east) towards the large stones. After the stones, dive against the current. Here you will find a landscape with spectacular rocks. Dive upstream against the current for about 150 m and then drift back to the rocks.
Beautiful and typical Lake Constance dive site with entry from the shore, also suitable for beginners. Steady slowly sloping bottom, at the beginning rather sandy, then silt. In addition to the typical flora and fauna, various other attractions.
