★★★★☆ Freibacher Stausee
Half an hour south of Klagenfurt at the Wörthersee is this reservoir for the production of electricity. Dammed up in 1957, 7 buildings were also put underwater. Several prominent building’s remains can be dived here at shallow depths.
★★★★★ Peltastis (Wreck)
The Peltastis wreck is located between Šilo and the bay of Klimno, a hundred meters from the northeastern coast of the island, at depths of 12 to 32 meters.
★★★☆☆ Silbersee Ranch
Located to the west of Villach in the immediate vicinity of the Drau, the Silbersee is an artificial body of water that was created in the 1970s by extracting gravel from the groundwater. There is a platform on the eastern side of the lake and the "Silbersee Ranch" restaurant on the southern side
★★★★☆ Klopeinersee Strandbad Süd
Lake Klopeinersee is located in the south of Carinthia. The entrance is on the southern shore in Strandbad Süd and offers a varied dive between artificial trees and some sunken attractions. From a boat to a replicated dugout can be found here.
★★★★☆ Liafels, Millstätter See
On the north shore of Lake Millstätter See there is a small car park, which offers a comfortable entrance to the two diving routes possible here. Strong vegetation and a beautiful steep face are the main features of this spot. The vegetation in the shore zone offers a perfect hiding place for many fish.
★★★★☆ Uvala Slana
The house reef at Mihuric offers a variety of life and geological formations in different levels up to 35m. Several boats, a statue, and a buoyancy control park offer perfect conditions for familiarization dives and all kinds of training.
★★★★☆ Stausee Soboth
This reservoir floods a former mine. Therefore, the shoreline consists of steeply sloping stone walls. The lake is very dark, but its golden yellow water is impressive, especially in the sunshine. The rocks glitter underwater (cat silver). A very nice dive site, but for more experienced divers.
★★★★★ Baron Gautsch (Wreck)
Touring the Baron Gautsch is best started at the stern, across the upper deck towards the bow. After viewing the outside of the ship, you will get a very pleasant feeling of staying in the wreck, while going to the upper deck where the steel skeleton is left.
★★★★☆ Strandbad Bad Saag
The Bad Saag lido is located between Pörtschach and Velden. The dive site offers a great experience for beginners and advanced divers. In the shallow area you will find vegetation, lots of fish and attractions. The deep area offers an unforgettable diving experience in clear darkness.
★★★★☆ Längsee Strandbad
At the Längssee there is a great beginner diving area. The entry at the footbridge of the public beach is easy and you can discover a lot along the shoreline in depths up to 7/8m.
★★★★☆ Plic Tenki
A very nice dive site on the east side of the island of Krk. Like a pyramid, Tenki stands in the water. After the entrance at 3m, there is a small tunnel which leads to 9m deep. Two steep walls (up to about 20m and the next one up to about 40m) are worth seeing. In the shallow water, there are great geo formations.
★★★★☆ Vanjsko Silo
This circular shaped reef is located about 300 meters from the point of Silo on the island of Krk, 10 minutes by boat from the mainland. There reef starts at a depth of 15 meters.
★★★★★ Jakljan (Wreck)
The wreck of the Jakljan lies between Novi Vinodolski and the island of Krk in a depth of 42m to 51m upright on the bottom of the Adriatic Sea. Two anti-aircraft guns can be seen at the bow and stern, the cargo is completely preserved, and the wreck is in excellent condition.
★★★★☆ Sekirn Steilwand
After the somewhat challenging entrance (3m slope into the lake) you dive along the right shoulder of the steep wall. Both in the shallow area up to 10m and under the thermocline in the range 15-30m the dive site offers impressive walls. Occasionally you can find mighty trees at the bottom of the lake.
★★★★☆ Strandbad Pesenthein, Millstätter See
The beach is easily accessible via the well-maintained lido. The dive site is gently sloping with a light stony bottom that drops to 120 meters. In the sunlit shore area you dive through lush vegetation with countless schools of fish.
