Tieti Diving is a small, human-sized center located in Poindimié, East Coast North Province in New Caledonia. Far from mass tourism—Tieti Diving is one of only two centers along the 300km of the east coast—we offer a unique window onto an underwater world blessed with unique biodiversity, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Our equipments, both for diver rental and tank inflation, is state-of-the-art, and Tieti Diving offers free Nitrox for cerrtified divers. We can also offer rebreather divers tank inflation and lime supplies.
As an SSI training center, Tieti Diving offers a wide range of courses. Adults and children take their first steps in a pool, heated during the cooler months.
The sites are accessible by boat after a 20-minute boat ride (central pass and reefs).
Like in this Alpes, from Tignes you can reach Val d’Isère via the Vallée Blanche, a white sandy bottom dotted with an incredible biodiversity of corals, stag horn corals like you’ve never seen before.
Located inside the double barrier reef, of which there are only 9 in the world, you’ll be fascinated by the white sandy seabed and the biodiversity of the corals, of which more than 130 have been counted.... Magnificent coral roses await you at the end of the dive.
Two superb pinnacles at the entrance to the Grande Passe de Poindimié, descend into the blue in search of Bargibenti seahorses and garden eels. Don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for big pelagics and sharks of all kinds.

Outside the reef, you’ll find a labyrinth of large faults, canyons of varying widths and tunnels. The site is decorated with numerous gorgonians....
Sheltered from the swell and the wind on the outside of the reef, a network of small faults dotted with small tunnels .... it’s a place of every possible encounter.
Vertigo will charm you with its topography, cracks, tunnels, shafts of light and its anemones. They are everywhere, in every colour and of every type...
An ideal site for deep technical diving, but also for taking in the sights....descent into the blue to 40M and approaching the drop-off which descends to over 120M....Advanced nitrox training is requested.
A bucolic walk awaits you, walls of gorgonians, pretty little tunnels, clumps of porite covered in multicoloured Christmas tree worms, black coral, bubble coral, huge clumps of acropora.....
A magnificent pinnacle in the middle of the Grand Passage, its special feature is an arch over 20 metres high, filled with gigantic gorgonians, and home to many pelagic fish.
Located in the middle of the Poindimié channel, explore a network of pinnacles interspersed with tunnels and caverns. A great biodiversity of corals: gorgonians, tabular corals, massive porites....
search and you will find, hyppocampes bargibenti, nidubranches galore, orang outang spider ....you don’t like macro, it’s not a problem, wide-angle vision assured too, a multitude of pinnacles pierced by arches and small tunnels filled with gorgonians with big ones passing by.
So much diversity that it’s hard to make a choice, wide-angle or macro, there’s something for everyone. Tunnels, arches, gorgonians, pygmy seahorses (hyppocampus bargibanti).
Cross the main plateau and let yourself be carried along by the current, in one direction or the other, depending on the tide. Getting in and out of the water can be tricky with the current. Take a breath and discover pinnacles covered in gorgonians. Turn your head to the blue and let yourself be surprised.
Dive into the blue down to 40m to discover the drop-off to the Poindimié trench, from here a huge chimney opens up allowing you to descend into a majestic cavern opening onto the summit ridge of the trench at 60m, the bottom is still a long way off at over 300m.
