In the SSI Science of Diving course, you will gain a complete understanding of the underwater world and its effects on the human body. Completing this course is a prerequisite for most SSI professional courses as well as some Extended Range courses and is an excellent way to expand your diving knowledge. Available online, you can earn your SSI Science of Diving certification from home and prepare to start your professional diving career. Upon completion, you will already be halfway to the coveted SSI Divemaster rating and earn the SSI Science of Diving certification.

The SSI Deep Diving Specialty course will teach you everything you need to dive to depths of 18-40 meters safely. Diving deeper requires special skills. The course goes through in theory and practice what things should be taken into account in deeper dives. The course examines, among other things, how the increasing pressure as you go deeper affects the planning of the dive, air consumption and the diver himself. The course consists of online learning material, contact teaching, a theory test and three training dives. After completing the course, you will receive a Deep Diving classification, which allows you to dive up to 40 meters. The basic education requirement is the OWD classification and the age of 15 years. The SSI Deep Diving course has a lot of benefits from the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 40% rating, and if you don't already have the Nitrox course, it's convenient to combine it with the Deep course. In addition, we recommend that you have taken the SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty course or at least have good skills to dive with a dry suit. You'll learn how to plan and execute your deep diving adventures safely, as well as how to use computers and gas consumption calculations to get the most out of your deep dives. Upon completion of the course, you will receive an SSI Deep Diving Specialty certificate and will be able to explore beautiful deep dive sites wherever you are. This SSI specialty course is also a prerequisite for some advanced training, so it is the next logical step in your diving training. The course dates will be agreed together.

In the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver course, you can try the Deep Diving and Navigation courses as well as three other dives in the special course. The course is a great way to experience what SSI advanced courses are all about and how valuable it can be in your diving adventures. During the Advanced Open Water Diver course, you will experience five different specializations as you complete one open water dive per specialty after a comprehensive orientation with your SSI instructor. You can complete any special training at any time in the future and have your Advanced Open Water Diver training credited to them. The course gives you the classification to dive to a depth of 30m. Course dates will be agreed together, theories and dives in 2026!

The Dive Guide course is the first step on an exciting journey to becoming a dive training professional. Learn how to lead certified divers safely in a variety of environments and conditions. By keeping dive briefs, conducting site assessments and leading dives, you will become a confident dive guide in no time. Start your diving career by working as a professional dive guide or work towards a Divemaster qualification

SSI's Decompression Diving Specialty Course will teach you how to dive beyond the limits of straight line diving. You will learn how to plan and execute dives to a depth of up to 40 meters with limited decompression using a complete recreational diving system and one decompression tank. You will learn and practice how to effectively use dive computer functions such as gas exchange, gas integration, time-to-reserve and time-to-surface functions. Using these computer functions will become second nature to you, allowing you to safely perform dives with limited decompression without hours of dive planning. Upon completion of the course, you will receive your SSI Decompression Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore stunning deep dive sites or larger wrecks without being limited by traditional direct dive restrictions. The Assistant Instructor rating is the next step on the diving instructor path after becoming a Divemaster. It allows you to gain valuable teaching experience, practice your initiations, teach lessons and provide on-water training. If you want to progress your career as a diving professional, you can complete the Instructor Course, pass the Instructor Evaluation exam and become an Open Water Diving Instructor.

Become a diving instructor and live your passion. To participate in the SSI Instructor Training Course (ITC), you must be a certified divemaster or equivalent. This comprehensive course is part of SSI's two-step training methodology. It starts with a combination of instructor courses supported by immersive digital learning. After completing the ITC, you will take an Instructor Evaluation (IE) to become an SSI Open Water Instructor. As a certified instructor, you will be able to independently instruct the core SSI courses Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Diver Stress & Rescue and Dive Guide. Need more time or want to gain practical experience before becoming a fully fledged instructor? You can complete the Assistant Instructor component as a separate step. Once you have gone through the theory and pool sections, you can choose the open water weekend(s) that suits you (note that we have to arrange the weekends so that we don't run out of equipment and there are enough participants for that weekend - so feel free to choose any weekend that suits you. Before the weekend there will be a small workshop to go over some dry suit diving and fitting together. Wet suit diving course participants, let's see together before the weekend if we can find a suitable wet suit.
