Järppilän louhos

Järppilä quarry is a disused granite quarry. The open pit in question has been filled with water and is a popular diving destination where diving is allowed. The site is behind a locked boom and local diving clubs and organizations have the keys to it.

While diving, you may see a few perch and abundant filamentous growth. The water in the quarry is relatively clear.
