The Post in Überlingen is a challenging dive site and therefore not suitable for novice divers. The steep wall with overhang is unfortunately often underestimated by divers and serious diving accidents occur. Diving is only allowed to the left at this site.
This is the dive site that is still known by many divers as "Baugraf". Since the State Garden Show 2021, there are several new entry points.
From the parking lot you can reach the entrance via a gravel path. Caution! The stone stairs can be very slippery! The dive site consists mainly of a shallow sloping heap. The course extends from 5 to about 20m. The platform is located in the 5m area to the left of the entrance.
Winter dive site! Diving allowed only from 31 October to 15 March. Check ferry schedules before diving! This site is more for advanced divers. Steep walls and cold water can very quickly lead to mental limits.
Dive site for experienced divers. The steep wall drops down to 22m. However, the wall is the smaller challenge, rather it is the engine noise of the ferries between Meersburg and Konstanz that can be heard throughout the dive.
In the shallow water area, the dump is nicely overgrown and ideal for beginners and practice dives. Visibility can be between one and 15 meters, depending on the weather and current at the dive site. On the steep wall, the visibility is usually good.
This is an advanced dive site that is popular with experienced recreational and technical divers. Due to the steep wall and depth, visibility is usually good.
Very suitable for advanced and technical divers. You can reach great depths and deep walls. Please do not underestimate the laborious way to the entrance.
Wreck dive: Please dive at the laedine only with a perfect buoyancy, as this is a historically and archaeologically valuable wreck of a clay freighter.
Lake Constance is well known to everyone, but even many divers do not know that the Jura, one of the most beautiful freshwater wrecks, lies at a depth of about 38 metres. It is one of the oldest still existing paddlewheel steamer ships in the world! It sank in 1864 after a ship collision.
The dive at the blown up torpedo test facility resembles a wreck dive. There are metal struts sticking out and you can dive through openings.
